Gielie de Swardt has been appointed as Head of Retail Partnerships at Alexforbes, starting July 2024. With over 21 years of investment industry experience, he will lead the Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) strategy. De Swardt joins from Sanlam Investments, where he held various roles including National Sales Manager and Head of Retail Distribution. He has also worked at ABSA Investments and Investec Asset Management, focusing on LISP sales.
