Priyesh Daya, a partner at Webber Wentzel, was recently appointed as a member of the International Chamber of Commerce’s (ICC) International Court of Arbitration, for a three-year term commencing on 1 July 2024.
This esteemed appointment recognises Priyesh’s extensive experience and proven track record in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution. His experience spans various industries, and he has served both private and public entities, including parastatals. His expertise is particularly deep in mining, oil and gas, financial services, telecommunications, and construction and engineering. Priyesh’s commitment to the field extends beyond practice, as evidenced by his workshops and presentations on construction disputes, the Companies Act, 2008 and the King Code on Corporate Governance, particularly regarding compliance and alternative dispute resolution in stakeholder relations.
